Leading form analyst Mick Gannon has provided his best bets for the weekend of racing.

Gannon is honing in on Rosehill and Flemington for his three specials.

Best bets

Rosehill: Race 5, No. 3 - Cadetship

Nearly did the job for us at $21 last start when running into 2nd behind Too Much Caviar.

Is well in at the weights after the claim for Zac Waddick to carry only 58kg and maps to perfection.

He's rock hard fit and is a great each-way bet at $7.00.

Flemington: Race 3, No. 1 - Drifting

Impressed first-up with a strong win at Caulfield.

His rating improved 2nd-up last prep and I expect to see the same pattern here. Drawing wide is no negative here and he's proven to run well down the Flemington straight before.

He'll land on-speed and give us a huge sight.

Rosehill: Race 8, No. 2 - Storm Boy

Storm Boy arrives here second-up of an impressive first-up run.

He’s set to receive on-pace favours and only needs to hold his last start rating to be winning.

Switzerland profiles to run a career peak first-up off his two nice trials. Maps perfectly to land on-speed and get his crack at Storm Boy.

Bustling looked the goods at his most recent trial and is on an Everest campaign. He’s very short in the market and would have had to improve nearly 3L off his career peak to be winning this.

That seems a stretch given he’s first-up with an Everest slot already secured.
