The 2022 Everest Champion arrives here off two nice trials. He looked further forward than you'd expect him to be given he has his sights on another Everest, however this may be because connections are looking to secure a slot nice and early.

The booking of J Mac is as good of an indication of any that he's ready to fire and if he runs near his best, he'll prove far to classy for his rivals.

There's a long tail to this race, so J Mac will need to be at his brilliant best to dodge some slow ones, but if he can, I expect to see Giga Kick win and significantly firm in the Everest betting.

This talented mare arrives here first-up with no public trials to her name, but the booking of J Mac suggests she'll be ready to fire.

She won 3 in a row last prep, in fine order before running 4th in the Listed Denises Joy. She raced in the inferior going that day and with even luck could have finished closer to the eventual winner Commemorative.

She has two career peaks last preparation that if she was to repeat, would be more than enough to be winning this. She possesses plenty of speed and from barrier 4 will land on-speed and give us a huge sight.
