Michael Kent Jnr has rated the stable’s best winning chance for the weekend.
Heading to Moonee Valley with their best bet, Kent Jnr believes Le Mas will run well over the 1600m trip in the second race of the card.
To be ridden by Ethan Brown, the leading trainer expects the race pattern to suit this five-year-old mare who is getting her first look at The Valley circuit from barrier 11.
“I do really fancy Le Mans,” Kent Jnr told SENTrack.
“I know you might get a better price with the barrier but I just think with the rail true, full field of runners, there looks to be three or four that will go forward and I can just picture her getting on the back of the right one and getting home.
“She’ll run well you know, she’ll run well. Forgive the barrier as she’s there to run enormous so I’d make her my best of the weekend.”
She’s a winner over the 1600m and will head to Saturday second-up after a strong first-up run at Caulfield on August 17.
Le Mans is the current $3.60 favourite.
