Those attending the AFL Grand Final this year will be spinning around to the music of Kylie Minogue on Australian Football’s biggest day.

The league has confirmed the former Neighbours star turned superstar singer as the headline act for the 2026 decider.

This will be Kylie's first-ever Grand Final appearance.

“The Toyota AFL Grand Final is the biggest event on the Australian sporting calendar - and this year, we welcome home an Australian icon,” AFL CEO Andrew Dillon said.

“Kylie has been on our wish list for a long time, and there is no better artist for headline the performance prior to our biggest game of the season.

“Our AFL team recently joined Kylie at the MCG for the Grand Final content shoot, and you could already feel the excitement for September building.”

It will be the first time since Birds of Tokyo in 2021 that an Australian music act headlines the Grand Final entertainment.

Throughout her decades-long career, Minogue has had several hits reach the #1 billing on the ARIA Charts with songs such as ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, ‘Locomotion’, and ‘2 Hearts’.

This comes after the news that this year's and next year’s Grand Finals will be played in its traditional time slot of 2:30pm.
