Sydney superstar Isaac Heeney has made his 2025 Brownlow and premiership picks.

With both the vote count and Grand Final taking place next week, Heeney looked ahead to who he thinks will take out the AFL’s ultimate individual and team honours.

For the Brownlow, Heeney couldn’t look past Collingwood’s Nick Daicos, who is the $2.50 favourite with Sportsbet.

Daicos has come awfully close to winning in both 2023 and 2024, and Heeney foresees the star Magpie breaking through to claim the gong in his fourth AFL campaign ahead of Bailey Smith ($5) and Noah Anderson ($7).

“I think it's a three-horse race, but I reckon Nick Daicos gets it,” Heeney said on SEN Breakfast.

“I think Bailey Smith and Noah Anderson are right up there, but I think they lose too many votes to other guns in their team.

“There’s Max Holmes and Jeremy Cameron will take a few as well (off Smith). Then Matt Rowell will take a few as well (off Anderson).

“So, Nick Daicos will take it out.”

As for the premiership, Heeney can’t see Geelong losing after dispatching Brisbane in their first Qualifying Final.

With a Prelim against the Hawks and a potential Grand Final against either the Magpies or Lions to come, Heeney is tipping Chris Scott’s side to go all the way for the second time in four seasons.

“I can't see Geelong losing, to be honest,” Heeney said.

“I think they're just so balanced all over the park.

“I don't know, I like watching them play.”
