CAULFIELD

Race 2 | 7. Shadhavar

Has form around Arabian Summer this track/distance last prep and that’s great for this! Had no luck when court wide before being tipped out for a spell so disregard that race. Is drawn perfectly to have run of the race right on the back of the speed (Bold Bastille) Has trialled well coming and is going to be very hard to beat!

Race 3 | 2. Supercilious

Talented filly who will love getting to 1400m third up! Had a crack at the 1000 Guineas in the spring and her two runs down the Flemington straight been decent. Clearly looking for further and gets it today. There is a bit of speed on race so Craig Williams can squeeze forward and allow her to find her feet but wont want to be too far back buried so hopefully she box seats and gets the luck when needed. If she does, she’ll win!

Race 7 | 8. Seonee (each-way)

First two runs this prep would win this race but his last two have only been meh. Can find an excuse two back but had a perfect run in the Swan Hill cup although I think that’s better than this. He is also a much better 1400m horse then he is over the mile. The speed is drawn right next to him. Might get a little squeeze and try and be prominent but needs a backside and hopefully can run well. is over the odds at $20 a great each way play.

RANDWICK

Race 4 | 9. Flame Of Hestia

This is a wide race but her speed map is best! She will jump lead and go hard. Forget her two back as she needs toe into ground. Her form form last win stands up and even though this is tougher for her, they need to catch her!

Race 5 | 3. Federer

Was on him last time and the step from the 1400m to the 1800m was a bridge too far late but staying at the 1800m today I really like. He profiles like a 2000m horse and I expect with the run of the race today he will be too good. Think third up has him cherry ripe and he is my absolute best of the day in Sydney.

Race 8 | 4. Oh Diamond Lil

Perfectly drawn and back to the 1600m both wins for this girl. We have run of the race holding the rail with Putin outside her. She bounce back into a little bit of form last start behind a really impressive winner and she has ran well her only time fourth up. Has only been to the Randwick mile once and she left with the chocolates. Expect the same today!!

Race 9 | 7. Razors (each-way)

Way over the odds considering hit the line hard over 1200m and needs the seven furlongs! Always runs well second up and soft track good even better if dries! Drawn nicely to have a sweet run and his WAY over the odds at $18. Huge each way play!!

CAULFIELD

Race 3 | 3. Xarpo

Is a sharp filly and was a good winner first up over the short trip, she gets in well at the weights and a winner at Caulfield before, should sit on speed which is a good spot to be at Caulfield with an even tempo, nice filly.

RANDWICK

Race 6 | 4. Zaphod

Is a horse that is very honest and racing well, yet to win this preparation but has the hoof on the till, this trip is a real sweet spot for him and he can put himself anywhere in the run depending on tempo, he can win here.

DOOMBEN

Race 9 | 11. She Ours

Oh deary me this should have won last start and did a huge job to finish as close as she did. No weight and knows her way around Doomben. She will be winning.

MURRAY BRIDGE

Race 2 | 5. Under The Cone

Has a good record at this trip and will be better suited getting on the better ground, drawn soft and a solid tempo would be in his favour.

DARWIN

Race 1 | 2. American Jazz

Is in good form and the strong Clarke/Todd combination are hard to beat, tricky gate but with the right run this can win.

BUNBURY

Race 1 | 1. Twisted Steel

Was a good winner first time out and will be better for that experience should win again.
