The NZRL are on a mission to connect more Australia-based players back to the Kiwis jersey, and they've signed on two of the best to help: Rugby League World Cup winners Stephen Kearney and Nathan Cayless.

Kearney joins SENZ's Running It Straight this week for a special chat about his new pathways role and their bid to elevate New Zealand's national side.

Also on the show, regular host Anthony Gelling and stand-in Mark Stafford look at the One NZ Warriors' final game of a rollercoaster 2024 NRL season.

In what will be Wayde Egan's 100th appearance for the club, Warriors head coach Andrew Webster has been forced into making several changes to the backline due to injury.

Taine Tuaupiki returns to fullback, while Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad makes a shift to the centres alongside Ali Leuataua, covering for the injured Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Adam Pompey.

Their Saturday night fixture at Shark Park also doubles as the final match for Addin Fonua-Blake, who will be shifting to Cronulla, Jazz Tevaga, plus the retiring Shaun Johnson.

SENZ has live commentary of the NZ Warriors vs Cronulla Sharks this Saturday from 9pm, kick-off 9.35pm, available on the SENZ app and all New Zealand frequencies.
